Sliding Puzzle
About Sliding Puzzle
The Sliding Puzzle, also known as the 15 Puzzle, is the classic sliding tile game: fifteen numbered tiles in a 4x4 frame with one empty space. Slide tiles into the gap to put them back in order, 1 to 15, reading across the rows from the top left, with the space finishing in the bottom-right corner. Tap any tile in the same row or column as the gap and the whole line slides at once, which makes long moves quick on a phone. A move counter tracks how efficient you are, so you can try to beat your best. Stuck on the last two rows? Tap Hint to see a good next move, or keep tapping to watch the solver finish. Want a change? Set up a 3x3 eight puzzle or a bigger 5x5 board from the Custom menu. Every shuffle is solvable.
How to play
Tap a tile in the gap's row or column to slide it, and any tiles between, into the space. Arrow keys slide a tile into the gap. Hint makes one good move; Undo takes moves back.
